My stay at this hotel is becoming more and more. Pleasure,,since really the idea has mainly been to rest,,,and has really achieved that goal,,,apart from being able to rest because really the room is very comfortable and with a beautiful view,,the fact that we are at beach point makes it even more pleasurable since a walk to,,,the sunrise becomes magical,,,, thank you for the service we have been provided to all the staff,,, they are very friendly and professional

This is a nice small gay-owned hotel. The owner and staff are very friendly. A few personal suggestions would take this 2-star hotel to 3-star. All beds are in need of bed skirts. I recommend standardizing the linens and comforters to the same type. White with the hotel embroidered border is beautiful. If you don't have one already, hire a linen service. Some rooms have more artwork than needed. A bit overdone. Edit a few pieces. Your website features blurry photography. Hire a professional photographer to take photos. Consider having the staff wear a basic uniform such as Khaki shorts and a white or black polo shirt. I wish you the best of luck.
It's an all gay male motel. No frills. Coffee always in the morning, sometimes breads. Walking distance to a diner and a bakery and you can walk into town if you care to. The owner has always treated us with respect and kindness. You meet all kinds of men there from all over.
This hotel is quite nice. The owner/host is very knowledgeable about the area and is great fun to hang around with in the evenings or mornings. The room is quite large and completly refurbished. The place to stay in Rehoboth.
We came to Rehoboth Beach only to find our house rental was not ready, no A/C. So we decided to stay at the Shore Inn, as it has a friendly large hot tub and many other gay men stay here and they have a clothing optional hot tub. That's where the good parts end. The management wasn't inviting at all, they must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed that day. The rooms were marginal at best. Think Motel 6 in the middle of nowhere. There always seem to be zombie like people wondering around day and night. I was very happy that we were only staying for one night, as I'll never come back again. It was really sketchy. Stay away.
This place is a funky friendly and fun spot just a few blocks from the action. The property has a perfect laid back vibe that keeps bringing us back. Always meet new friends in the sun area/hot tub. Biggest dance club across the street. Other gay bars about 1/2 mile walk, beach about 1 mile walk. Rooms (downstairs) are smallish but cozy and comfortable. Good A/C. Bob the owner is friendly and responsive.
Yes it's a motel type place, Yes it's not 4 or 5 star and Yes it's not in the heart of things..BUT the owner, Bob, has made it welcoming and relaxing without trying. The rooms are clean and basic...what else do you need in a beach town. It's a comfortable walk into town. It can't be beat.
The Shore Inn was a quirky-cool setting for a fun birthday/reunion weekend. The spotlessly clean rooms each showcased modern art, sculpture and furnishings. The outdoor common areas had a retro-chic vibe, with funky crystal chandeliers, vintage votive boxes and cool wall-art/sculpture. An inviting jacuzzi is complemented with an 'open' outdoor shower. The gardens are immaculately maintained, and there are welcoming seating areas on both room levels. A wonderful respite from typical beach lodging!
I come to Rehoboth many times during the year and have always noticed the Shore Inn. This time my partner and I decided to stay and give it a chance. Needless to say we really enjoyed the stay and look forward to coming back. The Shore Inn is just a few short blocks from the main center of town and beaches. But do not forget about the hot tub as we found it as a great way to kick back without all of the sand. The Inn is also walking distance to all the great restaurants and nightlife Rehoboth offers. If you are single or traveling with a partner, The Shore Inn is a great find.
