Azzurro Pod Hotel - Potts Point

The Potts Point location offers great location - walking distance to Macleay St., the main street of Kings Cross. The beds are comfortable and the airconditioning in the room is pretty good. The dinner (lamb pasta and salad) was a generous serving, with option to have a second serve. The shared amenities are clean. Both Sofia and Reyna are most helpful in checking us in and checking us out. We will definitely try the other centrally located Azzurro locations.

Probably the cheapest accommodation you can find in Sydney so you can’t expect anything amazing. We had a couple issues with our room and I was dealing with 3 different staff the lady on a phone, the girl who came to check on us and a maintenance guy. They all were extremely helpful and so friendly. I did appreciate it very much. Thank you

Maiden the one i spoke when i came in ! Even after completing everything by 6pm they didn’t sent me my room pin and i keep asking for extra payment at the time of check in Totally disgusting Never recommend to book this place

I just want to say this is a great hostel for my taste,.in particular I was to express my thanks to the staff- all of whom have been top shelf tbh, but atm I just want to especially give my appreciation to reception staff Adrian who has really been Soo personable,efficient,lovely,& especially,so helpful & accommodating to my needed, adding immeasurably to my stay being comfortable & everything going smoothly for me.10/10.

Bedding was comfortable,dinners served well with appropriate portion. Administration always their to help with prompt delivery of information when needed. And always friendly. Easy access to facilities and close to everything you need for the healthy eaters or the drinks at the bar. And lovely service from Adrian always helpful and prompt on service requests.

Had such a great experience at Azzurro Hotel thanks to Adrian at reception. You can always tell when someone genuinely cares about hospitality… and honestly, that makes all the difference. From check-in to helping with questions during the stay, Adrian was calm, professional, and super welcoming the whole time 😉 A lot of people overlook how important the first interaction is at a hotel… but reception really sets the tone for everything. Adrian made the whole experience feel smooth, easy, and well looked after. Big respect to him 🫶 Highly recommend staying here if this is the level of service they consistently give.

I stayed here twice. Both times, the shared bathroom was filthy. What I found upon arrival: 💩 Excrement in the toilet 🩸 Used sanitary pads on the floor 🧻 Used toilet paper on the floor 🦠 Mould and fungus on the shower walls What happened when I complained: No physical front desk – only a "tele receptionist" via chat They ignored my requests for a refund I felt they were laughing at me remotely No manager on site after 8 PM My rights as a traveler (Australia): Under the Australian Consumer Law (Sections 60 & 267), a filthy, mouldy bathroom is a major failure. You have the right to a full or partial refund. This hotel will not respect your rights. Do not stay here.
