Affordable rooms for those who are not picky where they stay. The place is near ximending market and ximen mrt station (5 mins walk). Great for those who are travelling alone.

The place ia convenient..near to the night market..mrt station..the area is quite and near the main road ..the room is clean and nice..the receptionist anny is helpful and suggested places to visit and check ..it was cozy and homey too..I find the place reasonable price and near..walking distance to the ximen station and stores..especially thw noght market and high end stores...great value for money..I will recommend and will stay again when I go to taiwan..

Pros 1. It's close to a busy area, so it's easy to get to the subway, night market, Carrefour, shopping centers, and everywhere else. 2. The owner, who guided me around, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. He answered all my travel questions and provided me with MRT route maps and other tourist information. 3. It's a great place to stay alone for a cheap price, and the air conditioning works well. 4. Security is excellent. There's a separate entrance card so no one can get in. Cons 1. The soundproofing is poor. 2. The water temperature was either extremely hot or extremely cold. I'm not sure if it's just my room, but it was difficult to get warm water, and it took about 10 minutes longer to adjust the water to lukewarm every time I showered. 3. The shower head was half-broken and extremely dirty, making it unsanitary. There was scale everywhere, and only the center of the water outlet worked, so the edges were even more scaled up. Washing with that felt very uncomfortable. 4. The bathroom in the single room I stayed in only had a shower and a sink, and there was no toilet, so I had to go to the public bathroom on the first floor, which was inconvenient.

There are many good value-for-money daily rentals in Ximen, but I don't recommend this one. 1. The rooms here have partitioned walls and wooden doors, resulting in extremely poor sound insulation. 2. The rooms are very basic. You might want to consider other options.

Rooms are very dirty with moldy walls and dusty fans. Wouldn't stay here at all.

The place is really worth your money. When we went to Taiwan, we chose to stay here because its much cheaper than a hotel. We were 13 people and we occupied the rest of the room. It has 4 floors and each room has its own bathroom though there were rooms with no toilet just a shower. Each room has its cute theme. The beds were soft enough and has a comforter. All rooms has AC amd TV. We just didnt know how to navigate the TV. The 1st floor was our common area. The host (her name was Anny) was kind and accomodating. You are allowed to use all the appliances in the buiding. Another good thing about G9 was that its near the Ximending or the shopping district. There are small restaurant, 7/11, Family Mart, and other places where you can eat that's near the apartment.
