Rombergpark

Rombergpark, the large botanical park in the south of Dortmund, is a classic gay cruising area with a long history among locals. Activity concentrates in the wooded and quieter sections, mainly during daylight into the early evening in the warmer months. As a public park it is family-frequented — be discreet and considerate. Germany is legally welcoming to LGBTQ+ people, but cruising areas are unsupervised: go with discretion, stay aware of your surroundings, and note that far-right harassment of cruisers has been reported in the Ruhr region.
