Brief Encounters

Brief Encounters is an adult cruise club at 3 Connell Street, off Lapp's Quay near Parnell Place bus station, and the only venue of its kind in Cork; the city has no gay sauna. It covers about 4,000 sq ft: two cinemas, private booths with glory holes, three group rooms including a sling room, dark cruising areas, a lounge and an adult shop at the front. It's a dry club with no steam room or sauna. The official site welcomes gay, bi and straight visitors, couples and women, though the crowd is mostly men. Hours are noon to 10pm Sunday to Thursday and to 1am on Friday and Saturday; lockers cost €2 and entry prices aren't published. A late-2025 listing said only the shop was open during renovation, so check brief-encounters.com/cork before going.
