The Rugby Hotel

Nice old renovatad hotel with a history! 🛏️ in the old Rugby town with a history of Rugby game 🏉!Next to the old popular Rugby school 🏫

Staff were great. Albeit just the guy on reception. Room was ok but mega dusty. King size bed was 2 singles pushed together on wheels which was a shame when trying to cuddle through the night, slipping down a gap. Bathroom was small but modern and clean. The location of the hotel is right by lots of pubs and a main road so it wasn’t the quietest of locations when the pubs empty the glass bins. Made for a bit of a rubbish nights sleep.

Stopped here Saturday 1st Nov. I booked the wrong night by mistake but the hotel accommodated me and changed my date with no extra cost. Extremely helpful. Spotless room. Very large bed with 6 pillows, really comfortable. Lovely room. All in all what a lovely place. Would recommend all day long and will stay again. Thank you to the staff.

Went into the bar on a Friday evening. Place was a mess. Ordered a couple of drinks and sat at a table that was left with cups and napkins. The bar man then wandered around moving chairs but did nothing to come and clear the table or any of the other tables littered with cups and food scraps. Been here 20mins, only four other people here and no effort to tidy up the table. Left us sat here with other people's dirty cups

Lovely old hotel in Rugby, very near parking which only cost £5 for 24hrs, bargain! Room was very nice, bed was fabulous with lots of comfy pillows. The only downside was the bathroom light had a movement sensor, but was very bright on lowest setting, which stayed on fir ages. Corridors were a bit dated.

If its a peaceful break your looking for this is not a good choice. A wedding party was being held on the night of our stay where the speakers may just as well been in our room. Not even warned when we booked and staff just shrugged of when we asked what time it finished. Not recommended
