About this place Stella Restaurant

Stella, an Italian restaurant in Boston's South End, is a good spot for a late-night pasta or a daytime spritz. Its all-white, modern interior and big windows open onto one of the biggest outdoor seating areas in the city.

The look is mod, not fussy, and the prices are reasonable. You'll find it comfortable for a casual dinner or something a little more special, without blowing your budget. The kitchen stays open until 1:30 a.m., which is a relief when you need a real meal after the bars close.

You're in the South End here, which is full of restaurants, bars, and shops, and it's one of Boston's most LGBTQ+-friendly areas. Stella fits right in, feeling welcoming to everyone who walks through the door.

Came here on the weekend and it was TURNT. Music was popping, and still my service was great and my food was delicious. I'd eat here again. Front desk was great.

Great atmosphere but the service SUCKS. Food is sub-par (at best), and they forgot about our drinks. Food came about almost 40 minutes after we ordered and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. The eggs in the pasta were over boiled, the beets in my salad tasted like they came straight out of a can- definitely did not taste fresh at all. Super disappointing considering this was my first meal flying into Boston.

Service here was fantastic. We had a slight issue with one of our orders and it was remedied fast and without question. Our server Yaz was kind, patient and attentive given how busy it was there. We will be back!
