Dignity/Boston is a Catholic community for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and allied members, offering a place to practice faith and connect with others.
There’s a reason Dignity/Boston has been a consistent presence for LGBTQ+ Catholics for decades: it’s a community, not just a service. Part of the national DignityUSA network, this group has long been a spiritual home for people who often feel unwelcome in mainstream Catholic settings.
They meet every Sunday at 5:00 PM at St. Stephen's Church. You’ll find both liturgy and social activities, making it easy to slip into a service or just hang out. It’s a low-key way to meet other LGBTQ+ Catholics and allies.
If you're in Boston and want a religious community that gets it, Dignity/Boston is as judgment-free as it gets. No one's asking you to explain yourself here. Long-time Catholic or just curious, you can show up to a Sunday service or one of their social events. Check their website for what’s coming up.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cuffe McGinn funeral home. Eric, Niki, and the entire staff were so thoughtful and kind! My Aunt had passed last summer and they helped us navigate the process of her services and burial. We were obviously grieving and overwhelmed but they helped us through every obstacle. Her life insurance company was not very cooperative but Eric and Niki stood by us were very understanding and patient. I would wholeheartedly recommend Cuffe McGinn!
The staff and services that they provide are amazing
