via Stay22About this place MassEquality
MassEquality, on the 7th floor of 262 Washington Street, is Boston’s main LGBTQ+ advocacy group. They had a huge part in getting Massachusetts's equal marriage law passed, a landmark decision.
Today, they’re still at it, fighting to protect queer rights and pushing on other issues that matter to the state’s politically active LGBTQ+ community.
If you're in Boston and want to understand how the local queer movement works, or just want to learn about advocacy here, MassEquality is a good place to start. It says a lot about Boston’s history of LGBTQ+ activism and political engagement.
You can check their website, massequality.org, for what they’re currently working on, upcoming events, and ways to get involved. It's a real slice of Boston's queer political life.
