I can’t believe I never knew about this Gem in Chicago! Amazing service, the nicest people from the hostess on the phone, Rachel, our server, Marcus, the managers, George and Angelique. Yes I know everyone’s names as they became family by the end of the night. The food was ridiculous, the Branzino, the best I ever had, the Burrata, a ten, the pasta, freshest ever. Thank you for the tiramisu, incredible. I love this place and look forward to meeting the Chef

This is the second time my wife and I visited 312. The first time was good. This time, less so. The appetizer, Polpetta e Polenta, was very light in the polenta but the meatballs were dense and hearty. The dinner, Spaghetti alla’Arrabbata and Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, was served with uneven temperatures. My wife's was hot and mine was barely warm. I was hungry so I ate it anyway. It was cold before I finished. Very disappointing. I will say my wife enjoyed her hot food. Our table wasn't bussed so we had glasses and dishes sitting until I flagged someone down to clear them. Our waiter was nice enough in the beginning but then kept disappearing. The whole experience was substandard. I'm not sure we'll return. There are many options in the downtown area. Do better 312.

Food was great. The drink selection on the menu was not available and I reviewed the menu on-line and the item I selected also not available.

Food, drinks, and service were ok. Nothing outstanding as expected. Some of the plates were cold when served; drink orders were delayed - we had several longer dry periods.

Breakfast for hotel guests was served next door. Very friendly and absolutely delicious!

Do not eat here. I'm surprised to see such good reviews. This was hands-down the worst experience I have ever had. Upon being seated, the server (Carrie) told us how busy she was, she just had 5 tables seated and she had drinks at the bar she had to deliver. Her general attitude was that it was a bother/annoyance to serve us. Fritto Misto was okay. Focaccia was hard as a brick. Butternut squash soup was orange water. Fish was inedible. The server was also kind enough to correct my 80 year old mother's pronunciation of the fish upon order. I drove in with my mother from Indianapolis. It was to celebrate her birthday with dinner and a show at the theater next door. Given her mobility, I chose this restaurant given it's location to the theater. I fully regret making this choice. We thought we could salvage the night by ordering dessert. The beignets were a lump of dough and the "slightly burnt caramel" on the creme brulee was so burnt it tasked like charcoal. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant. Beautiful ambiance, but that is all.

Had a wonderful dining experience at 312 Chicago! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was excellent. The menu offered a great selection, and everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented, can't wait to return!
