About this place CRAM Fashion

On North Broadway in Chicago's Lakeview, this boutique deals in European-style clothes, mostly contemporary, slim-fitting stuff.

It's just north of Boystown, so if you're out exploring Chicago's gay scene, it's an easy place to stop. The shop aims for LGBTQ+ customers who want a wardrobe update with a European feel.

Chicago's gay commercial district has plenty of places to eat, shop, and go out, all around Boystown and the blocks nearby. This Lakeview spot fits right in. You can combine a shopping trip here with other things to do in the area.

The shop gets a friendly mix of customers. You'll likely be browsing with other members of the community. If you like forward-looking clothes with a European bent, this is a simple retail stop. It’s a place where you can take your time looking through the racks and soak up some local gay culture.

Whether you're visiting Chicago for a weekend or live here, it's a relaxed shopping experience in a neighborhood known for its LGBTQ+ community. Check their website for inventory and hours.

Pretentious, overpriced, eye rolls by staff, which I found out later it was the owner. While my friend and I accompanied our other two friends to try on and purchase, we were treated like “why are you in here?” by staff, so we waited outside. I will NEVER buy anything from this store. I will go to Macy’s where I am not treated like garbage.

It’s great to support small local businesses, but be cautious with Cram Fashion. The staff seems to change constantly, which makes the shopping experience feel inconsistent multiple friends have stopped in and shopped here over the years the owner is rude and condescending towards the staff. On top of that, the owner has marked prices up to a ridiculous level it’s hard to justify paying that much for items you can find elsewhere for far less. Disappointing, because this place used to have a lot of potential.

Had a wonderful experience here with Ish! He was kind, attentive, funny, and made me feel comfortable in the space. As someone who can feel a bit insecure in clothing stores, Ish made me feel supported and confident. I now have a better sense of what colors look best on me. Very grateful to have had such a positive, welcoming first visit! I will be back :)

My favorite men's clothing boutique in Chicago. They carry a lot of great brands, some of which I've never seen anywhere else. They also have swimwear. The staff are friendly and attentive. This is the place to go for elevated mens fashion in Chicago.
