Actually didn't get to stay there. Made reservations in August for IBC at the end of February. Got an email yesterday refunding my deposit and informing me that the Inn was sold and the new owners had the old owners cancel all reservations for Jan 1, 2022 on. It's impossible that the old owners didn't know they were selling and should have informed those earlier who had booked. The room rate was unusually low for an event weekend and I have a theory why. The old owners got the place all booked up by offering low rates so they could show prospective purchasers how well-booked they were. Then when the new owners discovered how low the rates were that were charged, they asked that all reservations be cancelled. Nice job screwing over lots of people, guys. Enjoy your retirement or whatever else you decide to do with yourselves.
My partner and myself stayed the 1st week of December 2021. The resort is run down in need of lots of upkeep. It does not look like the pictures. Housekeeping was not provided, understandably. However owners were less than responsive when texted (as they requested). Overall feel was dirty. Do not waste your money.
Really nice, well maintained property with on-site owners who are friendly and helpful. The other guests were all sociable too. All told a great place to stay.
This place has become run down and is in desperate need of a refresh. The furniture veneer is peeling off the bedside tables, dresser, and mirror over the sink. There is mold in the shower, towels that were once white are now a dingy grey, and there is obviously missing patio furniture. But all of that is not the worst of what you're experience would be. The owners, Glenn and Jerry, are absolutely the worst part of the experience. There are strict rules for guests and if not followed precisely expect screaming and disrespect. All guests tip toe around them trying to make sure they don't become the target of their displeasure. Their major rule is complete quiet after 10:00. They apparently don't get along well with neighbors and have had issues with them. The owners live on the property. Funny how they don't see any problem screaming at guests and slamming doors in anger but they are infuriated if they hear laughter outside after 10:00. You know because people on vacation should be in bed by 10:00 and god forbid there should be laughter while on vacation. Don't even think about reminding them that they are in the hospitality business and should be hospitable. You will quickly be cursed at and disrespected. Two take aways from this experience. One, they obviously dislike what they do, and two, they dislike their customers even more. This place is a totally toxic environment and sure to ruin your time in one of America's best cities. Also, their Facebook reviews were so bad they disabled them so people can’t see how dissatisfied their customers were.
Love it I and my Hobby Stay for a weakened clean room and the pool was salt it was awesome, Quiet, and peaceful.
I ahve stayed at this hotel in the previous week for 5 nights. I was in town most of the wek. I would say i enjoyed the environment such as pool and, hot tub that was great. But, the part I did not like as much is the room. The room was small, the bed was very close to the wall and, I kept bumping into it. Teh air cocondintoner as I was told was put in about a year ago, but it kept making loud noices when it was pumping the water out as i was told. It kept waking me up. I had to shut it off... The part that botheried me most is the bugs. I saw about three of them, I was able to get one a but, others ran away. I relaize it is summer time and it is hot and, that's what typically happens. But, I am still hopeful that owners can spray or do something against the bug problem. Overall if that can be taken care of, I might come back and stay again!!!
