A very nice stay with kind owners and in a central location. Perfect for solo travellers passing through the area in need of accomodation for a good price and a central location in Duisburg.
Really friendly and helpful reception staff, too.
I had booked for two nights and notified them of my arrival in the afternoon in good time. However, no one was there, so I found myself standing outside the hotel in front of a locked door. Even after ringing the bell several times, no one answered, so I had to find another hotel. I was charged for the no-show – outrageous!
Not booked, only negotiated. The price on site was quoted randomly and verbally (instead of maintaining a consistent price level with the website). Hence the criticism. The reception staff were very friendly.
I was satisfied. Clean. Close to the train station. Friendly receptionist.
