My mother was paneled from hospital and placed here , from reading some of the Google reviews, I had some apprehension. I was able to spend 8 hrs a day with her for a week, watching the care teams routine, advocating on her behalf just a few times . Overall the nurses , health care aides , and cleaning staff are really great . They truly care . The food is made on site and is very good nutritionally. The. State of our health care system is fractured , funding is a huge part of it , while there are some gaps in care , they try their very best to do what is necessary with the staff that is in place.
My father in law is in the home. The home lost his bottom dentures. They refuse to take responsibility even though they help my father in law remove his teeth at night and put them in, in the morning the next day. They say he threw them in the garbage which is really not accepting any type of responsibility for the missing teeth. We pay them to look after him and not to make silly excuses blaming him. Why would anyone throw there own teeth in the garbage? The home refuses any type of responsibility. They should pay full price for his replacement but won't. They say he lost them not the aids. Would not be so bad if they said they did a room to room search but they won't answer this question. I wouldn't recommend this place as a responsible home for any ones loved ones.
A wonderful care home that hosts entertainment almost daily. Fantastic recreation crew and Healthcare staff.
Terrible experience there with my mother, she would surely be dead today if I hadn’t taken her out. My heart breaks for all those left behind, especially those with no family checking in, visiting or advocating for them. I have PTSD when I drive by there.
Our experience with WPM was absolutely horrible. Their Social Services Director Garth Cadoo would repeatedly ignore voicemails and emails and would not take action on any requests. His only mode is to apologize profusely when confronted. Our experience was one I want no other family to repeat. Any other PCH is a better option for your loved one.
