📸 Suggest PhotosSchwuZ has been at the centre of Berlin's gay scene since 1977, making it one of the oldest continuously operating gay clubs in Germany. The current incarnation is in Neukölln's Rollberg Kino building — three floors, multiple rooms, each with a distinct musical identity running from pop and house to more experimental sounds. What makes SchwuZ different from Berghain or KitKat is its explicit commitment to diversity and inclusion: the crowd is genuinely mixed in terms of gender, sexuality, background and age in a way that few large queer venues achieve. The monthly Gayhane night is the most well-known of SchwuZ's regular events: a queer Middle Eastern and Turkish dance night that has been running for over 20 years and draws hundreds of queer people from Berlin's large Turkish and Arab communities alongside allies and curious visitors. The playlist is Arabic and Turkish pop, dance and dabke — a completely different sound to any other gay club night in the city. Other regular events include women's nights, drag shows, 80s/90s theme nights and the annual SchwuZ Birthday party. The Neukölln location is less central than Schöneberg but reflects Berlin's eastward shift in queer life. Entry prices are modest by European standards. The venue is actively wheelchair accessible — unusual for Berlin's older club infrastructure.

Great gay club with a very mixed crowd. Door staff not intimidating. Drinks reasonably priced. 3 rooms with the largest playing pop music. I had a great time.
The club is nice and has a good atmosphere but sometimes the songs don’t really fit the vibe and seem a little random. However, I still recommend going here. But pregaming is very important since the prices inside are high. One shot would cost you 3,5€. There were some weird people there but overall it was nice. It does get very warm so I recommend not wearing a lot of thick clothing.
Awesome establishment and great music. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to check it out while in Berlin. Several rooms with different vibes, allowing you to mix it up and find what works for you.
Amazon Place! Nice bartenders and polite securities. Card pay on the bar and merch, love it. Clean, neon and techno club vibes.😍 P.S. Amazing idea - drink holder in wc🥰
Never have I been to a social dance club that felt so safe. Safe to love, to face, to be free. Drinks are a bit pricey, but located close to U8 and the operating hours are great for late night. I party here a lot with my friends and as a straight woman, a highly recommend. Staff is amazing and they serve Pringles. Line was well paced and I danced my ass off with multi dance rooms with different music and themes.
