Escape Resort is a gay-friendly hotel in Palm Springs, California, 1.8 miles from downtown. This place is for LGBTQ+ travelers who want a relaxing desert trip but also like to socialize.
Rooms are simple: flat-screen TVs, free WiFi, mini-fridges, and microwaves. The resort has outdoor pools, which are really the main reason to stay at a Palm Springs resort, and a good spot to relax and meet people. Doesn't matter if it's high season or not, the pools are a nice way to enjoy the desert sun.
What makes Escape stand out are the weekly social events. They're built-in opportunities to hang out with other guests and get a feel for the local LGBTQ+ scene. Good for solo travelers or groups who want an inclusive spot with some built-in fun.
Being close to downtown means you can easily get to Palm Springs' restaurants, shops, and bars. But you still have a specific place to come back to, away from the crowds. If you're looking for a gay-friendly home base in the desert, this resort does a good job of mixing comfortable rooms with a community vibe.

Anthony was our game master and he was great. The room was fun and challenging
Had a blast! Took the whole family and escaped with 11min to spare. Anthony & Douglas were awesome!!! 10/10 would recommend!
Anthony made this an Amazing 🤩 experience! Thank you 🙏
We have done over 30 escape rooms and this is our 4th or 5th with this company. All have been very fun and challenging but still keep us engaged the entire time. When we went to book Prehistoric Park online, we noticed that the body requirement was 3 people. We called and were helped by Dalton who was able to book us for just myself and my husband. Levi was our GameMaster for this room and was so fun and energetic. His positive energy was infectious! We did have some technical difficulties with one element of the game and Levi came into fix it. It didn't quite work but we finished with 2 minutes to spare. The game was fun and engaging so we can easily look over a little technical issue. :) To make up for the issue, another sweet GameMaster gave us a voucher for a free game that had no expiration. We quickly booked for another room, which was Bank Heist. Mar-Mar was our GameMaster for this one and she allowed us to work through the puzzles without interruption. Both GameMasters respected my husband's request for no hints without direct request. We had so much fun! We will definitely be back for more! Edit: as a suggestion to all the GameMasters. When the puzzle is done and you come into the room, please do not block the door with your body. After both games we completed, that action was repeated, and I felt more trapped than if the door had been locked. I know the person meant no harm but I felt extremely uncomfortable
Family from out of town came and we had to give the Escape Room a try! We solved Jack the Ripper and had a ton a fun. So much we decided to give the Merlin’s Magic Room a go! Merlin’s was definitely our favorite! Our guide Tyler was so awesome and helpful with all our questions and experience over all. Will definitely be back!
Levi was so sweet and made our experiance so fun!
