We had the bad experience at Rendezvous Hotel Scarborough this morning 17th of June at 6:29 room 1102. We was in bed naked and I heard the door unlock so I quickly looked and the door opened and a older man pop his head in and muttered something, then the door closed. My wife felt very uncomfortable about it, she could of been walk to the toilet at the time. We went to the frount desk later on in the morning and reported it, all they said was probably maintenance. We ask why and how did it happen as the room was booked to us and we did not ask for anything to be fixed, they could not answer the question. We ask if they had CCTV that hey could see who it was now answer to that it was they didn't care We didn't even get a sorry. We are very disappointed and most likely to not return to say there.

Once the crown of Western Australia coast hotels, sadly the old girl is run down. As of June 2026 when I visited there were upgrades underway, hopefully enough is done to really revive this old gem.

Room was very clean and tidy. The gym was lacking appropriate weights for women mostly over 17kg which is a shame because it has a decent size space and views. There were a lot of leaks in the hotel and maintenance needed with leaking windows and a leak in the dining/entrance. It took a really long time to be checked in with a very long line up and only two people serving. Other than this the stay was nice and coffee was good.
