About this place Maze World

Maze World, on Berlin's famous Ku'damm, is a gay erotic shop with a large interactive maze at its core. You can buy all the usual stuff here—DVDs, toys, condoms, lube, vibrators—but most people come for what's in the back.

The shop runs regular themed nights. On Mondays and Thursdays, it’s cinema night (that'll cost you €8 to get in), and Fridays are Bi Day, which draws a crowd.

It's easy to find, especially if you're staying at the Motel One Tiergarten, which is just down the street. Like a lot of gay-friendly spots in Berlin, Maze World feels pretty relaxed and judgment-free.

You can go in just to browse, or you can head straight for the maze. It’s a good spot, whether you’re local or just passing through, for both shopping and meeting people.

The Gardens of the World are a lovely place to visit. However, you should absolutely not buy tickets online. There are no refunds – not even for the cable car. If you've bought a combination ticket but the cable car is out of service due to technical reasons, you won't get your money back. I'm not sure if this is legal, but you're not going to hire a lawyer over a few euros. In any case, it's absolutely outrageous to keep your money when you don't provide the service.

Simply one of the most beautiful places in Berlin. I love going for walks here with my wife and our little daughter.

A very nice place to visit, as long as it's not too cold or too hot. It's especially pleasantly empty around 9 am. The food and drinks are just okay, hence 4/5 stars.

The Gardens of the World in Berlin-Marzahn are truly an impressive destination. Nestled in the heart of a new housing development, this large, well-maintained, spacious, and family-friendly oasis of nature awaits. You should definitely plan to spend plenty of time there – you'll need at least five hours if you want to explore everything at a leisurely pace. The various garden areas are beautifully landscaped, and there are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat or a drink. There's also a lot on offer for children: a summer toboggan run, a water park, playgrounds, the Kienberg observation tower, and, of course, the cable car. Keep in mind that the cable car requires an additional ticket, or you can purchase a combination ticket. In my opinion, the entrance fee is reasonable, and there's ample parking available (free of charge) in lots P1 to P4. Overall, it's a perfect destination for families, nature lovers, and anyone looking to truly unwind in Berlin. Highly recommended!
