Connection Club is the Schöneberg gay venue that occupies the commercial end of Berlin's scene — the large, accessible nightclub for Saturday nights that does not require any sub-cultural identification to enjoy. The venue has a main dance floor upstairs and the Connection Video Bar downstairs, each operating with different music and atmosphere. Go-go dancers are a weekly feature; the music is mainstream gay: house, pop remixes, commercial anthems. The crowd is diverse in the way that large commercial clubs are diverse — a cross-section of the gay mainstream rather than any specific sub-community. During CSD week in July, Connection runs extended programming and is one of the central venues for Schöneberg's Pride celebrations. It is the right answer for visitors who want a proper nightclub experience in central Berlin without needing to navigate Berghain's door policy or understand Berlin's more experimental club culture. Location on Fuggerstraße is in the heart of Schöneberg's gay district, walkable from multiple bars for a pre-club circuit.

The sound system is really nice. but…Saturday night, and just a sadly atmosphere of random guys dancing. A feel people that arrived were some straight couples and other feel went directly to the darkroom area.
