About this place Mister V Brussels

Mister V is Brussels' most charming gay-friendly boutique hotel: a small-scale, design-oriented property in the city centre that operates with the kind of personal service and authentic welcome that larger hotels cannot replicate. The hotel's rooms are individually designed with careful attention to detail — the aesthetic is contemporary European boutique, neither corporate nor kitschy — and the welcome for LGBTQ+ guests is entirely genuine rather than performatively inclusive. The location on Rue du Fossé aux Loups puts guests a five-minute walk from the Rue du Marché au Charbon gay district and a ten-minute walk from the Grand-Place. For visitors to Belgian Pride or La Démence, Mister V books up quickly — advance reservation is essential. The hotel's modest size means that it genuinely functions as a gay social hub rather than simply a place to sleep: the guest community is small enough that people actually meet each other.

A very early meeting in Brussels made me look for a no nonsense hotelroom, near to motorway and town. This hotel offers clean, simple standard rooms with bathroom. Great value for money, 74 euro decent breakfast included.

This hotel is the worst choice around here! The air-condition in the room doesn't work and you don't have the choice to open the window because hasn't mosquito protection!Look how the walls is in my room!Everywhere blood came from mosquitoes! It's very noise and I think for 70-80€ you can find a better hotel! The room smell so bad from cigarette smoke!I am still here but tommorow morning I will leave it as soon as possible!Really this hotel is a disaster!!

Stayed over two night Friday and Sunday. We booked a Twin Room however the receptionist said there were none. However we insisted that we requested one then managed to locate one 🙄we wanted any early breakfast the reception said we need to ask the morning manager. When we did he refused to give us any although some of the food was out. Really rude and unhelpful Room was ok at 1st however cleaning standards are poor cobwebs air conditioning poor shower was great 2nd night there is a sign in the reception saying all welcome the reception came to the door and said what do you want, I know I was dressed in Lycra and with a bike but that not a way to greet a paying guest Air conditioning not working again toilet not cleaned shower no pressure Toilet was disgusting there was a bid skid mark in the pan unbelievably! Let's hope we can get some breakfast when we go down stay 23 & 26 June 17 Cheap yes would I want stay again NO!

I stayed here for one night on business. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk and the little bar connected to the area was only occupied by old gentleman who didn't speak English. Once someone arrived at the front desk I gave them my name and they walked me to my room. Upon entering I could see that it was rather plain, simple, and old fashioned. Although it was clean enough I'm glad I was only staying there one day.

Stayed for one night on way back from business trip. When I awoke in the morning I found the room was infested with Mosquitoes which had bitten me through the night; not just a few bites but many on my face, hands and arms which have subsequently become inflamed, itchy and painful. I complained at reception and the woman at the desk said that if I was staying for another night, they would change my room, this was inapplicable. At no time did the receptionist actually apologise; she did say "oh - that is unusual at this time of the year" (November).

We have been for the second time to this hotel. Yes it,s time to renew, what is planned this year. What we like is the excellent service of the personal. Always helpful, smiling. Also: the price is what you get. The breakfast is more than enough, maybe a new expresso machine would be welcome. The room we rented for our presentation was clean with white sheets on the tables and drinks ready for taking.

This Best Western is a motorway pull-in on the E40 going out of Brussels and near the city ring road. It is tricky to access the hotel travelling to Brussels but once there you’ll find petrol, plenty of parking plus a fast food outlet and a self service restaurant that closes at 10 pm. The bedroom was smallish for the price paid, but it was smartly decorated and the bathroom was pristine. The reception staff were fine and I wasn’t expecting to be pampered in this functional setting. The wi-fi was protected by the most cryptic password one could imagine. And yet the Internet feed was so slow I wondered what it protected. Luckily I just needed to check my email.

décor dreary but it was clean and almost comfortable. staff were really helpful and spoke good English. restaurant is expensive but Quick ( similar to McD) is reasonable. breakfast was ok, typical of Europe. this hotel is easy to find with food and fuel being a bonus. parking was not a problem. it.s ok @ 75 euros / night we would use again

If you are looking to stay just outside the city, this is a convenient place to stop. There's a restaurant next door - which doubles as the hotel breakfast place in the morning. The continental breakfast exceeded my expectations by featuring scrambled eggs and bacon and plenty of pastry choices. Rooms are clean and pretty quiet. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly.

For economy and proximity of access to the center of Brussels this is good place to stay with a trusted name around the world. The staff is helpful and accommodating. A place to select if I didn't know anything in the Brussels area.
