Hotspot Description:
Paddles NYC was a gay BDSM (bondage, discipline, sadism, and masochism) club located in New York City. Catering to the lgbtq+Q+ community, it provided a safe and welcoming environment for people interested in exploring their kinks and fetishes. While Paddles NYC was operational, it was one of the longest-running and most well-known BDSM clubs in the city.
The club was located at 250 W 26th St, New York, NY 10001, in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. It was housed in a discreet, industrial-style building, with no overt signage, allowing for a sense of privacy and discretion for its patrons.
Paddles NYC featured a variety of play spaces and equipment designed to cater to different interests and desires. The club had a dungeon-like atmosphere with dark lighting and a variety of BDSM equipment such as St. Andrew's crosses, cages, spanking benches, and suspension rigs. It also had a social area where guests could mingle and relax before or after play sessions.
The club hosted regular events and themed nights, providing opportunities for like-minded individuals to connect and explore their interests in a supportive environment. Some of these events included workshops and demonstrations, helping to educate newcomers on safe and consensual BDSM practices.
Despite its prominence in the NYC BDSM community, Paddles NYC closed its doors in 2020.
