The owners of the well known bar WIRR in Viennas 7th district decided to rename their small underground club. In close collaboration with graphic design studio Valence and Zirup architects we developed a permanent projection mapping installation as the key visual element for the club.
Based on the new name “Dual” and the logo designed by Valence we created the mapping objects with Zirup. The new name “Dual” is reflected in multiple ways.
Two mapping objects are mounted behind the DJ desk. The hexagon can also appear as threedimensional cube – depending on the projected visuals.
We developed a custom touchscreen interface with controls for lights and visuals. The LED-light in the room is also controlled by the custom built software.
The color of the ligts is according to the visuals and therefore an inherently consistent ambience is created.
