Bangor Pride is a vibrant celebration that takes place in Downtown Bangor. This year, the event is scheduled for Saturday, June 24th, 2023. The festivities kick off with a parade from 11 am to 12 pm, followed by a festival that runs from 12 pm to 4 pm. The festival will be held in West Market Square and Norumbega Park.
In addition to the parade and festival, there will be other events and virtual offerings that will be announced in the near future.
For those who wish to recognize individuals making a significant impact in the lgbtq+Q+ community in Maine, there's an opportunity to vote for The Rainbow Awards.
If you're looking to contribute to the success of Bangor Pride, there are numerous volunteer opportunities available. Those interested in volunteering on the festival day should sign up by May 12th to attend an informational session.
