Central Alabama Pride Inc. (CAP) is a non profit organization (501(c)(3)) dedicated to promoting equality through our annual lgbtq+ Pride events that bring together citizens from across Alabama. Additionally we provide support to HIV/AIDS service organizations throughout the year such, as Birmingham AIDS Outreach, AIDS Alabama, Magic City Wellness Center and Acceptance Center.

CAP is led by a group of volunteer Board Members who energetically oversee and direct the planning and execution of PRIDE each year.
Whether serving as a Committee Chair or a committee member they receive assistance from a dedicated group of event volunteers who play a crucial role in PRIDE.

PrideFest and the Pride Parade unite the lgbtq+ community along, with their loved ones to celebrate together. These events offer attendees an secure atmosphere where they can freely express themselves indulge in entertainment and explore various activities. The evening concludes with expressing gratitude towards all the supporters and introducing our headline entertainer.
