The annual Fort Worth Pride event in Texas is an welcoming celebration that showcases the citys growing support for the lgbtq+Q community. Against the backdrop of Fort Worths cultural history and bustling downtown scene people from all walks of life come together to celebrate love, equality and pride. The festival features a parade with colorful floats, talented performers and various community groups marching through the city streets.
In addition to the parade Fort Worth Pride offers an array of activities including music performances, drag shows and vendor booths that aim to raise awareness for lgbtq+Q rights and foster community solidarity.
The atmosphere at the event is filled with happiness and togetherness providing a space for individuals to express themselves openly and embrace diversity. Beyond a celebration Fort Worth Pride serves as a platform for advocating for lgbtq+Q rights and supporting the community locally and beyond reflecting progress towards greater acceptance and inclusivity, in the area.
Fort Wayne Pride 2024 is scheduled for July 26th & 27th! We will returning to both Headwaters Park East and West. This has allowed for an addition of a nonprofit resource fair, a second entertainment stage, and a better space for our workshops and KidSpace area. The festival features live entertainment, vendors, a beer tent, food, workshops, tournaments/ trivia, KidSpace, and a fabulous time with the community. The Pride March will take place Saturday afternoon at 2pm after the start of the festival.
