Manchester, New Hampshire, has embraced the spirit of Pride Month with enthusiasm. The city hosted its inaugural Pride parade, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to celebrating diversity and inclusion. This event was organized alongside other Pride celebrations in New Hampshire, including those in Portsmouth and Nashua. Seacoast Outright, an organization dedicated to supporting the lgbtq+Q+ community, spearheaded the Pride celebration in Portsmouth. Their executive director, Hershey Hirschkop, expressed gratitude to the city of Portsmouth for its unwavering support. The march in Portsmouth commenced at Market Square and concluded at Strawbery Banke, drawing an anticipated crowd of over 5,000 attendees. The event featured a variety of activities, including food stalls, community resources, vendors, performances, and even a beer tent for the first time. Nashua also celebrated Pride with a parade along Main Street, culminating at the Nashua Public Library. The festival in Nashua was marked by vibrant displays, including unicorn balloons, colorful outfits, roller skaters, and more.
