Vallarta Pride emerged from the idea of creating an Association that supports and champions equality, for the lgbtq+Q+ community. It is more than a thrilling event filled with enjoyment and entertainment; it encompasses artistic activities, film festivals, sports events, fashion shows and much more. The purpose is to celebrate the diversity within our community while constantly encouraging a sense of pride in our selves.
Puerto Vallarta Pride is an event dedicated to celebrating the community in the beautiful resort city of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. This week long event usually takes place towards the end of May or early June each year. It showcases activities including parades, parties, concerts and cultural events.
The festivities commence with a Pride parade that winds its way through Puerto Vallartas streets before culminating at the Malecón boardwalk. Throughout the week there are also an array of events such as art exhibitions, film screenings and captivating drag performances. Many local bars, restaurants and nightclubs join in by hosting events and parties throughout this week.
