This is our go to casual hangout and has been for years. Great outdoor bar layout surrounded by great mature landscaping, and with all the shade/fans it's the only outdoor spot that never seems too hot, even in summer. It's great for everything from a low-key friday night, to a weeknight, to a Sunday afternoon nursing a hangover. The drinks are good and the beer selection is good enough. The food is good if your expectations are set for bar or comfort food, this isn't a 4-star restaurant and doesn't pretend to be. The burger is very good, other favorites are the grilled cheese, the Cuban sandwich, the nachos, and the fried chicken salad. One note - the service is good as long as you sit at the bar. At the tables around the bar, the service has never been very good. There are sometimes people smoking at the bar, which annoys me but I can't really hold that against the place since it is outdoors.
