Bangor Pride is an lively celebration held in Downtown Bangor. This year mark your calendars for Saturday, June 24th 2023 as thats when the festivities will take place. The fun filled day starts with a parade from 11 am to 12 pm followed by a festival that runs from 12 pm to 4 pm. You can find the festival at West Market Square and Norumbega Park.
Apart from the parade and festival there will be events and virtual activities that will be announced soon. If you want to honor individuals who have made an impact in Maines lgbtq+Q+ community you'll have the chance to vote for The Rainbow Awards.
If you're interested in contributing to the success of Bangor Pride there are plenty of volunteer opportunities. To volunteer on the day of the festival make sure to sign up by May 12th so you can attend a session.
