The Italian capital’s annual lgbtq+Q+ celebration has grown into a multi‑week festival that combines activism, culture and a huge parade. Rome Pride 2026 will run from Sunday 31 May to Saturday 13 June and will bring events across the city, culminating in a spectacular parade through Rome’s historic centre on the last Saturday.

Over the course of two weeks the Pride Park at Giardino delle Terme di Traiano will host concerts, art exhibitions and open‑air performances. The schedule includes film screenings, talks and a bear edition party; local gay clubs such as Muccassassina and GIAM plan special circuit events. The Rome Gay Pride Parade is planned for Saturday 13 June 2026 and will see a colourful procession of floats, DJs and dancers travel from Piazza della Repubblica to Piazza Venezia and the Roman Forum, passing landmarks like the Colosseum. The official after party, Rock Me Pride, takes over the Ippodromo Capannelle with a line‑up of more than fifty artists.

Rome Pride has been running since 1994 and attracts tens of thousands of visitors. Despite the city’s conservative reputation and the presence of the Vatican, the atmosphere during Pride is celebratory and political. Expect busy streets around Via San Giovanni in Laterano where many of the city’s gay bars are located, and look out for pop‑up events from crews like Poppe, Multiverse and Gorillas during the final weekend. Whether you join the early park events, the march itself or the late‑night parties, the 2026 edition promises to be one of the biggest yet.
