Hotspot Description:
French, formal and affordable A relatively inexpensive French restaurant started in the 19878 by Prussian Berliner Bernhard Heising and his wife. The three- and four-course menus are reassuringly limited, with no more than four or five options per course — all very home-made and delicious. Decor is trezz old-fashioned and elegant, in a special-occasion kind of way. Located ever so close to gay Schöneberg, if worlds away from the cuisine normally associated with the gay ghetto. The restaurant closes when the last customers leave. U-Bahns: Augsburger Straße and Kurfürstendamm.
